Free Shredding Event

State Senator LeAnna M. Washington presents a free shredding event on Saturday, November 16th at 9a-Noon or until the truck is full. The event will be held at Crestmont Park, Old Welsh Road & Reservoir Avenue, Willow Grove, PA (across from the Willow Grove Mall.)

What to bring:

All documents you no longer need that contain personal information, including Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, and bank account numbers, such as credit card statements, credit card applications, bank statements, cancelled checks, income tax information, insurance records/information, including medical retirement/pension fund information.

Consumer fraud and identity theft are becoming an epidemic in our communitites. Document shredding will occur onsite until the truck is full with the shredded paper later to be recycled.

This event is for individuals only, NO BUSINESSES PLEASE.

News from the Ardsley Family Day Association

Please come out and support your community and attend the following events to help our committee continue to bring you the Ardsley Family Day, and the Christmas Tree Lightening Ceremony. All of these events that are brought to the community involve a lot of hard work and funding.

November 17, 2013 – 1st Annual Pancake Breakfast at the Glenside VFW from 8a-noon. The cost is $10 an adult and $5 for children.

December 7, 2013 – 2nd Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Ardsley Park at 7p. Activities include arts and crafts for the kids, hot cocoa and cookies and music performed by the Abington Presbyterian Choir. Mr. and Mrs. Santa will arrive by Edge Hill Fire Department’s fire truck to meet the kids.
